When Luke Lynndale is performing, hang on for the ride - it's fast and hilarious. He was a finalist in the Comedian of The North comedy competition in Thunder Bay, ON. He performed in the Salem Comedy Festival (Salem, PA), New York Underground Comedy Competition (New York, NY), Comedy Chateau Festival (Los Angeles, CA.), Finger Lakes Comedy Festival (Ithaca, NY), Danforth Comedy Festival (Toronto, ON) and Tower City Comedy Festival (Paris, TX). Luke was selected as Best of Fest at the Comedy Chateau Festival. His debut Comedy Album “Luke Lynndale Live” can be found on all streaming platforms.

He is a graduate of The Second City Sketch Writing Program, Montreal School of Performing Arts, co-founder of critically acclaimed improv duo, DUO DAD, and founding member of Shakespeare improv troupe, We Happy Few. Luke’s acting credits include Betrayal (Montreal School of Performing Arts), and Arsenic and Old Lace (Village Players). In 2023, Luke acted in two films which are currently in post-production.

Luke started comedy in the '90s at the Comedyworks in Montreal, moved to Toronto in 1995 to take improv courses at The Second City, then after living as a backpacker in Australia for a year (1997-98), he quit comedy. He came back to improv in 2010 and to stand-up in 2017.

For eight years, Luke performed in an improv duo with his father (who started improv at 75 years old), called DUO DAD. They performed together at Nestival Festival (Columbus, OH), Big City Improv Festival (Toronto, ON), Vintage Improv Festival (Boston, MA) and were accepted into the Orlando Comedy Festival but were unable to attend due to his father's health issues.

Since Luke's return to stand-up, he has become one of the hardest working comedians in the Toronto comedy scene. In October 2019, Luke set a goal of 40 comedy shows in 30 days to help him grow. During the pandemic, he had a similar challenge of 50 Zoom shows in 3 weeks. He almost lost his mind. He helps himself and the Toronto community by producing 100+ comedy shows yearly. In 2024, he produced the first ever Danforth Comedy Festival.

Luke is a comedian on the rise. In 2023, he headlined Jokers Comedy Club and Windsor Comedy Club.  Luke has shared the stage with Nathan Macintosh, The Sklar Brothers, Laurie Kilmartin, Dat Phan, Steven Rodgers, and Maria Bamford.
